Baby Updates and Vacations

Sorry it has been so long since we've sent out a blog!!! We were having camera issues. We've had a busy summer getting ready for the baby, traveling to Florida, and my brother and sister in law, Jeff and Nomie came for a visit. It was so good to see them! Plus we had our baby shower. Thank you all for that!
Baby update - We are due in 3 weeks!! We are getting very anxious and I am so ready to be done. The end of pregnancy has not been fun. I'm hoping he will come early, but he has been stubborn this entire pregnancy. But the Dr. has informed us that he is doing great, and the exact size that he needs to be at 37 weeks. I'm sure the next blog we send out will be of pictures of our new little man. Here is a picture of mom and baby at 36 weeks.

This is our trip to Seaside, Florida in June. It was our first time meeting our second baby niece, Dagny. She was 7 weeks old at the time. We all had a great time...however, I do not recommend flying when you are 7 months pregnant.

Baby updates!

Well, our baby boy is doing well. We are almost at 29 weeks and growing rapidly. He is kicking stronger every day and daddy can often feel him kick after we play music for him. 11 weeks to go!! We'll send more pictures of mom and baby soon.

First of all, I have to congratulate all of our friends and family in baby land right now. Congratulations to our sister and brother in law, Melissa and Karl, on their second baby girl. Here is our niece, Dagny Lynn, born on May 5th.

It's a BOY!

It is a boy! I had a feeling it would be! We are very excited and have had a few ultrasounds in the past couple weeks. Our 20 week ultrasound went great. We got the results back, and the baby is healthy and developing perfectly. The blood tests came back normal, so everything is good!! He has a fast heart rate and is very long. We had a second ultrasound. That is the picture below. It is more vivid than what you'd see at the Dr.'s office. We got this one taken at the place where you get a 3D ultrasound...however, we cannot get a 3D one until we are about 26 weeks along. So, here's our little man at 21 weeks. He is very active and likes to suck his thumb a lot. My due date is still confirmed at about August 18th.

Here is mommy and baby at 21 weeks. I suddenly popped out at about 19-20 weeks, and now am growing quickly. 4 more months at this rate and I'll be huge! :)I'm finally feeling good though..minus my constant back aches.

We bought a boat. Chris found it and is working on repainting and refinishing the entire thing. He can't wait to take it out this summer. Here is the before shot..

This is the end of phase one. He has scraped all the paint away and removed the chairs. Next he'll have to sand and paint it. He's doing such a great job! His boat is his new pride and joy.

It's been a busy month!

Pregnancy Update!!!
We are now 17 weeks along and things are getting better. My sickness is slowly going away, along with feeling tired. We heard the babies heartbeat again this week and it is strong..156 bpm. We find out the sex in 3 weeks and are very excited. My tummy is slowly growing and I assume I'll be in maternity clothes in a few weeks. We'll send more updates as they come!

We've had a busy month....First, Judi and Kurt came for a visit. It was great to see them and the boys miss them terribly.

Kristin and Koehn came to town for a visit. Koehn became Chris's new best friend.

WE'RE PREGNANT!

For those of you who haven't heard yet, we are pregnant! We are 14 weeks along and so excited. It has been a long haul trying to keep it a secret from everyone and trying to pretend that everything was normal. I've had a tough pregnancy and have been sick about 13 out of the 14 weeks so far...and am waiting patiently for that part to be over with. I'm no longer as tired, which is great. Here is a pitcure of our third ultrasound. You don't normally have 3 by the time you are 14 weeks, however, we've had to go back numerous times because the Doctor first thought she spotted twins!! But, whew...what a relief..only one is to be found. We are currently due on August 18th and can't wait for more details to come. We will keep you all posted!!
