11 weeks old and counting..

We've had a busy month. I went back to work, which has been torture for me. Caiden seems to be enjoying daycare, it is mommy that is having a hard time with it. He will be 12 weeks old on Tuesday. He is growing so fast. He has also gotten his first ear infection, which has been painful for him, and so sad for us. But he smiles and talks more and more each day, and it's so fun to listen to him. Caiden's baptism was on Oct. 26th at the church that Chris grew up in, and of course, Halloween has passed. Caiden also got to hang out with his new friends, Trey and Dillon.

Congrats to Laura and Josh on the birth of their precious son Dillon. We are so happy for them and he is adorable!

Caiden also got to hang our with Trey again. These boys are all going to be trouble together.


Caiden's first Halloween. This was the first night of his ear infection, so he was grumpy, and this was all we could get out of him..his little Monster shirt and BOO socks and hat.

Caiden is 9 weeks old today. He has his first cold which is just horrible...especially because I'm going back to work this week. He had his 2 month appointment last week with his first shots....I cried. I may have to send Chris alone from now on. Caiden is in the 91st percentile in height...thanks to his tall daddy, and in the 55th percen. for weight. But when the Dr. compared his weight to height ratio, he is on the thin side. He talks sooo much these days and smiles all the time. He is getting baptised this weekend and starts daycare, so it will be a big week for him. The rest of the family is fine and the boys are looking forward to Halloween.

Baby Caiden

Hi everyone. Caiden is a month old this week. Time is going by so fast. Sorry it has taken so long to get more pictures out. He is so precious and we adore the new things he does every day. He is starting to "coo" and make more sounds and is finally gaining weight. He is up to 9 pounds now. He smiles more, and laughs when he is sleeping, and has the biggest pouty lip when he is sad. He does have a bad case of acid reflux and the medicine won't kick in for a while, so his crying is heartbreaking. We just adore our little man. Thank you so much to all of you that have come to see him over the past month. I'm sorry, we don't have pictures of everyone, but we thank you all so much.

Baby Updates and Vacations

Sorry it has been so long since we've sent out a blog!!! We were having camera issues. We've had a busy summer getting ready for the baby, traveling to Florida, and my brother and sister in law, Jeff and Nomie came for a visit. It was so good to see them! Plus we had our baby shower. Thank you all for that!
Baby update - We are due in 3 weeks!! We are getting very anxious and I am so ready to be done. The end of pregnancy has not been fun. I'm hoping he will come early, but he has been stubborn this entire pregnancy. But the Dr. has informed us that he is doing great, and the exact size that he needs to be at 37 weeks. I'm sure the next blog we send out will be of pictures of our new little man. Here is a picture of mom and baby at 36 weeks.



This is our trip to Seaside, Florida in June. It was our first time meeting our second baby niece, Dagny. She was 7 weeks old at the time. We all had a great time...however, I do not recommend flying when you are 7 months pregnant.

Baby updates!

Well, our baby boy is doing well. We are almost at 29 weeks and growing rapidly. He is kicking stronger every day and daddy can often feel him kick after we play music for him. 11 weeks to go!! We'll send more pictures of mom and baby soon.


First of all, I have to congratulate all of our friends and family in baby land right now. Congratulations to our sister and brother in law, Melissa and Karl, on their second baby girl. Here is our niece, Dagny Lynn, born on May 5th.
